We can't always leave town every time we need a quick getaway, but we can take a mental vacation almost any time and almost any place!

Close your eyes, sit in a comfortable chair and start taking deep, cleansing breaths. Breathe in deeply and slowly exhale. Picture a quiet place where you can relax. It may be the beach, the mountains or another retreat. If you choose the beach, picture the waves gliding in and the waves gliding out. Hear the faint cry of seagulls. Feel the gentle breeze on your body. Stay in this mental quiet place for a few minutes and then open your eyes. You should feel refreshed and renewed!

Always wear comfortable undergarments that don't pinch. The worst thing in the world is to have to suffer through along workday with underwear that are too small or not the right fit.

I need comfy undies, my day starts early. Animals (horses,cats,chickens and dogs)all must have breakfast. I jump in my school bus, take my kiddies to school. Teacher's aide all day, then the bus ride home. As soon as I roll in that driveway, I start relax mode. A small glass of wine with perrier, going out to the garden and being greeted by all my animals.

After work I like to put on some sweats and take either a run or brisk walk around the lake by my house. Just being out there with the clear clean air renews me.

I find depending on my inner self quiet is the best way to attain comfort within and without. So, when I feel stressed I take a slow deep breath, close my eyes and visualize my thinking process calming down, and from that point send that calm to my heart and the other areas of my body.



Maybe to some this all sounds a little "out there", but it works for me and I hope it works for someone else too.

In order to relax and clear my head, I walk regulary for 60 minutes at least 5 times a week. During my walk, I make sure that I do not think about my kids, finances, bills. I just focus on my health and how walking is improving how I feel about myself.

The ideal comfort for me is when it is slightly cool, so I can bundle up in a really soft blanket and hoodie and relax on the couch with a sweet tea and ice cream.

While we don't have alot of hot weather here in Northern Maine, we do have those nasty muggy days when it is just so humid that it becomes unbearable. To stay comfortable on these days, I make a point of wearing 'all cotton' bras and panties. Being all cotton, it makes you feel so much better than perhaps a nylon bra and panties. It makes you feel comfortable and cooler no matter what you put on top of them!
